تصدر المجلة الطبية البيطرية العراقية من كلية الطب البيطري ، جامعة بغداد. تأسست المجلة في عام 1977 وتم نشر أول إصدار لها في نفس العام. وبحلول ذلك الوقت ، كانت المجلة أول مجلة بيطرية علمية رائدة تم إطلاقها لتطوير مهنة الطب البيطري في العراق ، ومنذ ذلك الوقت ، كانت المجلة تنشر نصف سنويًا (مجلد واحد مع عددين) بحوث أصلية ومقالات مراجعة وحالة تقارير في مختلف التخصصات البيطرية. في عام 1985 ، تم تسجيل المجلة المجلة الطبية البيطرية العراقية في مكتبة بغداد الوطنية تحت رقم التسجيل 322 1985 وحصلت على التسلسل المعياري القياسي الدولي P-ISSN 1609-5693 للإصدار المطبوع وبحلول العام 2005 أصبحت مجلة دولية مفتوحة بتسلسل معياري قياسي دولي E-ISSN 2410-7409 للإصدار الألكتروني تشجع المؤلفين والباحثين على نشر أبحاثهم وجعلها متاحة بشكل فوري ودائم ويمكن الوصول إليها مجانًا في جميع أنحاء العالم مع الحفاظ على حقوق الطبع والنشر لعملهم . جميع البحوث المنشورة في المجلة مرخصة من Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4) حتى عام 2015 ، نشرت المجلة مقالات باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية ، وبعد ذلك ، يتم قبول المقالات المكتوبة باللغة الإنجليزية فقط مع الملخص العربي.لغاية يونيو 2020، أصدرت المجلة الطبية البيطرية العراقية 44 مجلداً إشتملت على 582 بحثا باللغة العربية و 352 بالإنجليزية.
الأهداف : المجلة الطبية البيطرية العراقية هي مجلة عالمية مفتوحة تصدر من قبل كلية الطب البيطري ، جامعة بغداد. تهدف إلى توفير المعرفة وتوسيعها وتبادلها في جميع مجالات الطب البيطري وتقديمها للباحثين والطلاب الأكاديميين المعنيين بهذا القطاع داخل العراق وخارجه للتعريف بأعمال الباحث العراقي للعلوم البيطرية الدولية.
النطاق : تنشر المجلة الطبية البيطرية العراقية العراقية مقالات بحثية أصلية عالية الجودة ومقالات مراجعة وتقارير حالة يتم إجراؤها في مختلف مجالات الطب البيطري بما في ذلك::

Overview
The Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Medicine is issued by the college of Veterinary Medicine, University of Baghdad. The journal was established in 1977 and its first issue was published in the same year. By that time, the journal was the first leading-edge scientific veterinary journal launched to develop the veterinary profession in Iraq.Since that time , the journal has been publishing biannually (one volume with two issues) original research papers, review papers, and case reports in various veterinary specialties. In 1985, The Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Medicine was registered in the National Library of Baghdad under the registration number 322, 1985, and obtained P-ISSN 1609-5693. As of January 2005, The Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Medicine is an international open-access journal with E-ISSN 2410-7409, encouraging authors to publish their research and make them immediately, permanently, and freely accessible worldwide while keeping the copyright to their work. All papers published in the journal are under the license of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4). Up to 2015, the journal published articles in Arabic and English, after then, articles only written in English with Arabic abstract are accepted. To date (as of June 2020), The Iraqi Journal Veterinary Medicine has issued 44 volumes including 582 articles in Arabic and 352 in English.
Aims
The Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Medicine is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal issued by the College Veterinary Medicine, University of Baghdad. It aims to provide, expand, and exchange knowledge in all fields of veterinary medicine and presented it to researchers and academic students involved in this sector.
inside and outside Iraq to make known the research works of Iraqi Scholar to international Veterinary Sciences.
